Carrot offers two distinct working models:
1. Offshore studios 2. Job work / Project work
1. Offshore Studios: The traditional advertising agency has a Creative
department which works on original ideas and design, and a
separate Studio where all the finishing, artworks, image retouching
etc. is executed. Our model aims to replace all the functions of the
Studio, by moving them offshore to our facilities in Gurgaon, India.
Unlike Creative, which is often culture specific and may require
regular client interfacing, the Studio is a more mechanical, skills-
based operation. Given that exactly the same skill sets are available
with us at a very substantial saving, there is no reason why you
should not benefit. You could save on everything from real estate
costs, to running costs, to manpower costs…
So whatever your business, whether Advertising or Publishing,
retailing Online or retailing Onsite, if your work involves a graphic
process that requires dedicated resources to service, we will set up
an Offshore Studio for you.
This would be exactly tailored to your expectations. Everything from
the technology platform (Mac or PC) to the software (Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Freehand, QuarkXpress, CorelDraw,
PitShop Pro, Winzip, Stuffit…) to the number of operators and their
skill sets will be as per your requirements.
Most important of all, we will put in place systems that ensure
complete confidentiality and security for all your work.
2. Job work / Project work: If your work does not require a
dedicated studio because volumes don’t justify it or because you
would rather not commit to such an arrangement, we would be happy
to handle your business on a job by job basis.
We have developed a standardised, easy-to-use process that
allows you to upload your files (PDF, EPF, JPEG) to us. We will send
back the finished jobs in the format you require, including Ready To
Print files.

Carrot operates out of the talent capital of North India: Gurgaon,
the place most Fortune 500 Corporations and multinational Ad Agencies call home.
We have access to the most comprehensive pool of talent available across New Delhi and the NCR.
The promoters have worked for close to 20 years each, in
advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Grey,
Rediffusion DY&R, the JWT group, the Ogilvy group and the Lowe
group. They have either been heads of the Creative and
Studio/Graphic Centre/Production functions or in senior Client
Management positions across these agencies.
They also have valuable hands-on experience managing offshoring operations for corporates and publishers out of Europe and North America. This includes managing a virtual studio for a major European advertising agency.
Carrot are uniquely positioned to provide premedia outsourcing services to organisations around the world. Because nobody else brings decades of high pressure advertising and premedia experience - delivering to tight deadlines at competitive costs without compromising on quality - to the GPO business like we do.

Nitin Beri, Founder Director, has been head of some of the top Creative Departments in India, including those at Leo Burnett, Rediffusion DY&R, Saatchi & Saatchi, Bates Enterprise and Contract (JWT), Delhi. He joined Capital Advertising (now Publicis Capital) as a Partner when it was a struggling startup, and helped transform it into arguably the best independent creative shop in the country.
An Applied Art graduate from MSU, Baroda, there are few professionals who can match his knowledge and experience
in every aspect of the communication business, whether it is film or print production, design or advertising, in traditional media or new media.
Rajesh Sethi, Founder & Chief Operating Officer, has been a career advertising production professional for over 17 years. He has headed Studio, Graphics Centre and IT operations at several leading Ad Agencies - DY&R, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Publicis Capital. He later helped pioneer the offshore preproduction business in India as Head of Production at a major outsourcing company, where he ran a Virtual Studio for a London based multinational Ad Agency. There are few professionals with the depth of experience and the knowledge of resources, technological and human, that are required to successfully run a cutting edge GPO business. Rajesh is perhaps the most talented of that small breed.

Shalini Minocha, Advisor, has worked for 20
years in various capacities across agencies and marketing
companies. An Applied Art graduate from MSU, Baroda, she started
out at TrikayaGrey, Mumbai as an Art Director. She has been Head of
Creative at TrikayaGrey, New Delhi and at Karishma, a Lowe group
company. She then moved to Candico, one of India’s best known
confectionary companies as General Manager, Marketing. She was
last VP, Client Services at Saatchi & Saatchi, before leaving to set up
her own design consultancy.
Arvind Pal Singh, Advisor, is a communications professional who has spent over fifteen years working across media and disciplines. He has been a Creative Consultant to some of the best known multinational communications groups while managing his own outfit specializing in everything from mass media advertising to direct marketing to design, both in traditional media as well as new media. An applied Art graduate from the Delhi College of Art, Candy is currently focused on launching a series of web-based businesses.

Carrot operations in North America are based in Toronto, Canada's business and media industry capital. Our North American staff are market experts who are familiar with North American graphic studio processes and standards. Our location is an additional advantage we offer clients, whether they are interested in contracting us as a dedicated offshore studio or on a project basis
Leah Barrett, Director, is the founder of design studio Jabberdust and has vast experience in the offshore sourcing, supply and operations industries. She was responsible for VF Asia’s (the maker of Wrangler, Lee and Jansport) operations in 14 countries. Leah is the head of CarrotCo North America and will oversee operations and billings.
Ward Maxwell, Manager - Business Development, is experienced in all facets of graphic design and production. He was Associate Publisher of the Canadian Curling News, and following that one of the principals in the graphic design studio PageActive Inc., a leader in use of computer aided-design, web development, and all things digital. During his stint at PageActive Ward was responsible for new business development, and oversaw the design team. Clients included: Scotiabank, Certified Management Accountants of Canada, Aldus Canada, Universal Canada, the Ministry of Government Services, Ontario, and many other major companies.
